I had an amazing trip to Cambodia, and must credit my unique experiences in both Siem Reap and other places I travelled to my guide in Siem Reap – Yous Sophana. Sophana was professional, extremely knowledgeable, versatile, always willing to help with things not directly associated with touring, and he has a beautiful and contagious smile! Sophana speaks and writes excellent English and I had no problems communicating with him through email and telephone prior to my trip, and in-person while with him. Mr. Sophana is not only knowledgeable about the temples, culture and Cambodia overall, but his passion for his country and people is strong and he is enthusiastic about sharing his passions. Sophana worked with me to tailor my trip specifically to my wants and needs and offered invaluable information and suggestions to help me with my trip decisions. In addition, when I left Siem Reap he put me in touch with others he trusted to help me during my travels. I highly recommend Mr. Sophana as not only a Siem Reap tour guide, but also as an invaluable asset to all facets of Cambodia travel.

We were fortunate to have Mr. Yous Sopanha for our personal guide during our trip to Siam Reap in April, 2011. We scheduled our tour with him through email and he was always quick to respond and get any information that we requested. In addition to tour activity recommendations, he also provided hotel recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and Sopanha was extremely knowledgeable about the temples that we visited and about Cambodian history. Additionally, his English is excellent and he has a great personality. We traveled with four children (under the age of 10) and Sopanha tailored the tours and daily schedule to meet our family's needs. He is extremely reliable and we were more than pleased with Sopanha as our tour guide. We would highly recommend him! We learned so much from him.

Mr. Yous Sophana was the BEST!! guide. He calls to mind a Renaissance man. He speaks English very very fluently, and mixes easily with any group of people, regardless of gender, nationality, or status. He was incredibly kind and considerate with our group, paying attention to each of our individual needs. He is eager for visitors to learn as much as possible about Cambodia, and to leave with unforgettable, powerful memories.

We had the good luck to have Mr Yous Sopanha as our tourist guide during our 4-day visit to the fantastic Angkor Temples. Not only has Mr Sopanha a vast knowledge of the history of these sensational buildings, he is also a charming, beautiful individual who has an abiding passion to make Cambodia's history known to the whole world. His own personal experiences during the Khymer Rouge regime are as terrible as they are rivetting and as a result he  has dedicated his professional life to Cambodia's Angkor legacy. I would highly recommend Mr Sopanha as a top-rate tourist guide.  

I have worked with Mr. Yous Sopanha in 2005 and 2006 while I was in Cambodia working on several photo stories. Not only is Mr. Yous Sopanha an excellent tour guide who knows the area very well, he is also very creative in finding angles to get access to different people and areas. He has a very pleasant and confident manner which helps to win the trust of people very easily. Besides that he is very knowledgable about Cambodia and its colourful history. I can highly recommend him as a tour guide and fixer for photographers.
